About us
We wanted warm tights that still looked like tights.
Every winter it was the same choice: sheer tights and cold legs, or thick leggings that look like thick leggings. We went looking for something better.
How it started
The short version
The problem
Cold legs or bulky legs
Sheer tights stop working in November. Fleece leggings are warm but look heavy. We wanted the look of the first with the warmth of the second.
The search
A lot of samples
We ordered fleece-lined tights from every supplier we could find and wore them through a Polish winter. Most pilled, went shiny at the knee, or showed fleece at the ankle.
The pick
One pair that worked
The pair that held up had a skin-toned inner layer under a fine black knit and a waistband that stayed put. We added a thick-lining version and kept it.
Today
Shush & Wear
We check every pair before it ships from Krakow. Shapewear and seamless bras are next, chosen the same way.
What we check
